We held my mother's 90th birthday party (Jean Simonetti Voisich) at the Dell'Assunta Hall on 9/17/11 and it was a huge success! With Westbury being our hometown, her father, Pasquale Simonetti, being one of the founding fathers of the Society and the 2nd President of the Dell'Assunta and having held Mom's 60th birthday there some 30 years ago, it couldn't have been more fitting for her to celebrate her 90th there with family and friends. It brought back such happy and memorable times growing up in Westbury and such proud feelings of our Italian heritage to all that attended. God Bless you for all your good works and for keeping the wonderful Dell 'Assunta Society going strong through all these years! I thank you, along with my mother and our family for making her 90th a very memorable experience!! A special thanks to Joe Piscitelli for making this possible for us with his kindness and courtesy to the Simonetti/Voisich family.

Good to see Louise open the website, Your Sister Carol was at the mass on the 15th and at the Feast, so good to see old neighbors from New Cassel, The Feast was a great tribute to the past presidents of the Society. Great job by all the members!

As a member of the Society for 25 years and as a past president for 6 years I want to commend both Donna and Laura for all the work and effort for putting this website together with all this information. It is young people like you two who will help propel the future of this Society in years to come. God bless both of you and your families.

I am a proud second year member of the Dell'Asssunta Society. My friend Pear Genzale kept telling me to join and she was right. I truly enjoy the friendships, the ideals and meaning behind the organization. I'm a very proud first generation Italian who hopes the society continues to grow and foster the ideals of unity, compassion, charity, and catholicism. Buona Fortuna a Tutti per Cento Anni! Annette
